How do I configure Centrix X_lite?
Here are the instructions to configure X-Lite; enter the following configuration information.

1. Start the X-Xlite client by double click X-Lite incon on the screen.
2. Click MENU (located to the right of "CLEAR" button)
   Double click at SYSTEM SETTING
   Double click at SIP PROXY
   Enabled =Yes
   Display Name = Your name
   User Name = your Account number (7-digits)
   Authorization User = your Account Number (7-digits)
   Password = PIN (5 to 10-digits)
   Domain/Realm =Centrixphone.com
   SIP Proxy = Centrixphone.com
   Note: Your AuthCode and PIN are emailed to you upon the purchase of an Centrix Account.

Do I need computer speakers and a microphone?
If your PC has a sound card installed, then all you need are your computer speakers (internal or external) and a PC microphone (internal or external). However, a computer headset with microphone should be used and is strongly recommended to avoid echoing.

How do I select a Codec to make your call
Centrix X-Lile Softphone has several codecs, grey out all of the codecs that you do not want to use, If you are using dialup Connection, select GSM or G729 and leave the one you want to use in black.
